Orders received by 12 noon (Central Time), Mon. to Fri. usually ship the same day. Once shipped, your order will take a few business days to reach you.
The length of delivery time is determined by the drop ship warehouse location and your shipping address. Below is a chart of warehouse locations and product ID prefixes to help you estimate shipping transit time. Your tracking number which we'll email to you within 1 business day after shipment, will give you a reliable estimated delivery date.

Your Grandfather clock (or floor clock) will be carefully handled and shipped via a reliable trucking freight company. Delivery time will take about 10 to 15 business days or more depending on your address. When the carrier is in your proximity they will contact you to schedule a delivery time. Please allow at least one full day for the trucking company to deliver your order.

Inspect Your Clock Upon Delivery
Damage during shipment rarely happens and we expect your clock to arrive safe and sound. However, upon arrival of your clock it is your responsibility to open the box and carefully inspect the clock before you sign the Bill of Lading and before the carrier leaves.
If you see damage please do one of the following:
- If the damage is minor, make detailed notes on the Bill of Lading and call us. Please SAVE ALL packaging materials.
- If the box or clock has been badly damaged, refuse the shipment and call us immediately: 800-713-5202. We'll guide you through the resolution process.
- If damage is discovered after the driver has left call us immediately and SAVE ALL packaging materials. Damage claims past 10 days unfortunately can not be honored.
Please do not refuse shipment unless the merchandise is damaged. If a shipment is refused for any reason other than damage, a refused shipment fee of 20% of invoice total plus all shipping charges will apply.

RETURNSAt The Well Made Clock we make the return process easy and simple. There is no restocking fee on most items*. Before returning your item contact us, we'll give you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, the return address and the complete instructions. Please note: returned items will not be accepted without an RMA number.
To receive a refund or credit, all returned items must be in original (new) condition and show no signs of any use. Items must include all original packaging materials and manuals and arrive at the return warehouse location no later than 30 days from your purchase date. For your protection we highly recommend that you fully insure your package and ship it by UPS, FedEx or the original outbound shipping method used. (Damaged merchandise can not be accepted for credit, refund or exchange). Please be sure the package is fully sealed.
If the carrier returns any item because it was refused or undeliverable, a refund will be issued less a 15-20% handling fee and less the outbound and inbound shipping charges. The refunded amount for items shipped free will be less the expense of our outgoing shipping and handling charges. Please include a copy of your receipt with your return. Grandfather clocks that have been set up and special order items are not returnable. If you are returning an item that was originally purchased with a gift certificate or as a gift, you will receive an in-store credit as your refund.
*Items with a purchase price of $1500 and higher are subject to a 15% restocking fee .

Please check your merchandise upon delivery. Damage caused by the carriers in the delivery process is not covered by the warranty and must be reported to us within 15 days.
